There were seven criteria of Cunningsworth’s checklist that was applied in this research: aims and approaches, design and organization, language content, skills, topic, methodology, and practical consideration. The result revealed that the textbook fits the good criteria in terms of aims and approaches, language skills, and topics. However, it does not fit design and organization, and language content.
