The other drawbacks of being Reason neutral remain, unfortunately. I think Marianne loses to Dorothea and Mercedes because I think their Meteor and Fortify are each better than Silence, and they aren't Reason neutral. WebJan 25, 2024 · I find Lysithea works best as a Valkyrie for the extra range. All your healers should be pulling double duty as offensive spellcasters and vice versa. Gremory is a good choice for Marianne, and she also works well as a Dark Flier, Valkyrie, or Mortal savant. Dark Knight is like Valkyrie with extra movement but no range extension.

She learns dark magic instead of black magic, and also has an absurdly good magic stat, making all her abilities delete enemies in a single attack.
